Are tv ads making a comeback? The price might be right, publishers are profiting

March 16, 2019

Setting up a meeting with your team and the main topic being “ i think we need to run tv ads“ might get you fired. But it could be worth the risk. Apparently, now that the big advertisers are on social media it significantly drove down the price of tv ads. They are cheap. Really, really cheap.

Small businesses are starting to be able to afford them and they are getting horrible. If your a late night mid-20’s stoner you definitely know this guys face from your commercial breaks watching Ridiculousness.

I think I’ve got that guys number memorized by now. I see his face trying to fall asleep drunk on the weekends.

Little do you know this is affiliate marketing taking advantage of the weak. Publishers generating revenue by flooding call centers. In that example above the publisher gets their affiliate ID and throws that phone number anywhere a human is. With the price of tv ads so cheap these publishers are getting some series tv time.

Rumor has it the tv networks are letting businesses run campaigns with budgets starting at $10,000. Here in 2019, 10k doesn’t last you 3 months on social media ads not even enough time to get your campaigns profitable. What other affiliate offers do you think could be ran with a 10K budget. Love me some mid-day Maury but payday affiliates have dominated that space for years.

Debt Relief offers ran after Dr. Demetri during Wild’n Out would be an interesting campaign to test. Your local Habeeb can throw together a better commercial in 24 hours than The Addiction Network did. Would you spend 10K on tv ads running an affiliate offer?
